Welcome to the Iron Horse Half Marathon 13.1 Mile Race!
To Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass
Presented by John's Run/Walk Shop
Join us on Oct 31st, 2010 for the inaugural Iron Horse Half Marathon. Held in the historic town of Midway in the heart of the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky, the race will show off the beautiful horse farms and spectacular fall scenery that only central Kentucky can offer. Midway is home to several shops and restaurants so plan on spending some time in Woodford County following the race.
- Just announced! Each participant will receive an 11"x17" collectible poster of the Iron Horse Half Marathon artwork. This is the same art that will be on the race shirt.
- Our official race shirt will be a technical long sleeve shirt from Asics. This shirt will be screened on the front with the IHHM logo and will be given to every participant.
- Overall and age group awards will be custom pottery hand made by Kentucky Mudworks.
- Photographs taken along the course can be seen here.
Due to the narrow country roads and size of the town of Midway the race field will be capped at 1,000 runners. Enter soon so you won't be left out!
